Justin Chisholm speaks to Tanguy Cariou – new CEO of the ROCKWOOL Denmark SailGP Team, who brings four years SailGP experience with the Swiss team, and aims to boost performance, manage league relations, and support skipper Nicolai Sehested as the team regroups for the rest of Season 5.

Late last week ROCKWOOL Racing, the organisation behind the Denmark SailGP team, announced the appointment of Frenchman Tanguy Cariou as CEO for the team.

Cariou is no stranger to SailGP having previously worked for four years in the same role at the Swiss SailGP team. He left that role in May of this year after what he described as ‘disagreements over some strategic points’ and has now been snapped up by the Danish team.

Cariou says he has seen SailGP evolve dramatically during his time with the high-performance international circuit.
